FAQ

Q: What are your typical payment methods?

A: Our standard payment method involves a 50% down payment via T/T in advance, and the remaining 50% balance is paid via T/T before shipment. However, for old customers, we can adjust the payment terms as needed.  Please noted that Paypal is only available for sample orders.

Q: How does a planetary gearbox function?

A: In a planetary gearbox, the input torque is transmitted to a central gear called the sun gear, which meshes with multiple planet gears. These planet gears rotate around the sun gear while also meshing with an outer ring gear (annulus gear), resulting in torque output.

Q: What are the various types of planetary gear configurations?

A: The common planetary gear configurations include spur planetary gears, helical planetary gears, and planetary gear trains with multiple stages, each offering distinct advantages for different applications.

Q: How is the gear ratio determined in a planetary gearbox?

A: The gear ratio in a planetary gearbox is determined by the number of teeth on the sun gear, planet gears, and annulus gear. It is calculated by dividing the number of teeth on the annulus gear by the sum of the number of teeth on the sun gear and twice the number of teeth on a single planet gear.

Q: How do planetary gearboxes achieve speed reduction?

A: Planetary gearboxes achieve speed reduction by meshing the input sun gear with multiple planet gears. The planet gears rotate around the sun gear while engaging the stationary outer ring gear (annulus gear). The counter-rotation between the planet gears and the annulus gear reduces the output speed compared to the input, enabling efficient speed reduction in a compact design.

Q: What after-sales services do you offer?

A: We provide a 12-month warranty for our products from the dispatch date. Additionally, during the initial stages of your project, we offer free technical advisory services to support you in making informed decisions and ensuring the success of your venture.

Q: What are the main components of a Planetary gearbox?

A: The main components of a planetary gearbox include sun gear, planet gear ring, input shaft, output shaft, bearings, etc. These components work together to provide torque multiplication, speed reduction, and rotational output in a compact and efficient manner.
